Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC)
SSC provides support for 205 Collishaw Squadron and is involved with fundraising, providing facilities, and promoting the squadron activities. The SSC is made up of parents/guardians of cadets and community members and is the local representation of the Air Cadet League of Canada view here.

SSC Leadership Team Positions
Chairperson: As an elected director, the Chairperson is the Spokesperson for the Squadron.
- Presides over all meetings or delegates an elected Director to do so.
- Liaises with the Commanding Officer.
- Ensures all members understand their roles.
- Appoints committees in accordance with the bylaws.
- Reports to the British Columbia Provincial Committee (BCPC) website through the League Representative.
- Serves in the absence of the Chairperson.
- Performs such duties as is identified in the bylaws or is assigned by the chairperson.
- Assumes the responsibilities of the Screening Director for SSC. Maintains an ongoing and current record of screened members.
- Oversees all funds and financial records.
- Prepares an annual budget for approval.
- Keeps records of all income and expenses and prepares monthly financial statements.
- Responsible for filing financial documents required by the Air Cadet League of Canada
- (BC Committee) Revenue Canada and the Registrar of Societies where required.
- Creates and distributes the Agenda for monthly meetings.
- Takes minutes during meetings and sends the draft minutes to the SSC members following each meeting.
- Sends minutes to British Columbia Provincial Committee (BCPC) promptly once they have been approved.
