The Air Cadet Program offers youth aged 12-18 opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge themselves. Our mission is to develop strong citizenship and leadership skills, promote physical fitness, and inspire a lifelong interest in aviation. Through mentorship, community service, skill development, and teamwork, cadets gain confidence, discipline, and a sense of purpose shaping tomorrow’s leaders today. Our Motto: “To Learn. To Serve. To Advance”.

205 AIR OUTLOOK CALENDAR (instructions access here). In Teams, under NO CHAT / Files / 2025–2026 Training Year / Cadet 365 Reference Materials, there is an instruction sheet for adding the 205 Air Outlook Calendar to your Cadet’s Outlook account. Cadets log in to C365 to open the instruction sheet.

MAR 8 MT. WASHINGTON SKI OR SNOWBOARD DAY (ADA)
YEAR 3+ cadets are invited to spend a day skiing or snowboarding at Mt. Washington. Regional Cadet Support Unit (Pacific) will provide transportation, rentals, and lunch. Interested CADETS MUST REGISTER BY FEBRUARY 15. Details in Cadet365.

MAR 8 ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH 10 PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Selected Cadets will volunteer their time to serve and clean up for the pancake breakfast. Check for details in Cadet365.

MAR 14 WINGS NIGHT SSC EVENT (Poster Link)
Join us for a great evening of food, fun, and fundraising! Enjoy 1 lb of wings and a beverage for $30. Additional wings are available for purchase; each ticket holder may buy one extra 1 lb serving for $25. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. This event includes a 50/50 draw, silent auction, and door prizes. Tickets are available through the poster link or in person on Thursday Parade Night at the Armoury. Event hosted by the Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC)!

MAR 17 SSC BOARD MEETING
Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) Board Meetings every third Tuesday of each month (1830-1930hrs), 808 Wing Lounge above Local Headquarters (LHQ). ALL parents/guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend.

SPRING BREAK ACTIVITIES AND BC HONOUR BAND
Selected cadets will participate in spring break activities according to the Joining Instructions (JI) of their activity. Joining instructions will be sent to individual Cadet365 accounts, so Cadets who have applied must monitor their emails closely.

MAR 29 EFFECTIVE SPEAKING STAGE 2 COMPETITION
Selected cadet will compete in Wing Competition (1300-1600). More information available on bulletin board in Armory drill hall and in Cadet365.

APR 10-12 EXERCISE AURORA (ADA)
Regional Cadet Support Unit (Pacific) will be hosting an Air Environmental FTX weekend. This is open to all levels. Interested CADETS MUST REGISTER BY MARCH 26 details in Cadet365.

APR 18 BIATHLON STAGE 2 COMPETITION
Biathlon Team Cadets will participate in the zone biathlon competition. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Parents/Guardians are welcome to stay and observe the event. Check for additional details in Cadet365.

APR 19 GLIDING
Selected Cadets who signed up will participate in a day of gliding (weather dependent). Check for details in Cadet365.

MAY 9 DRILL DISPLAY & COMPETITION
Drill Team Cadets will be participating in the upcoming Drill Competition. The Information and Criteria document has been uploaded to the Drill Team Teams channel in Cadet365 for your reference. Guests are welcome to attend, watch, and show their support for the teams.

JUN 14 ANNUAL CEREMONIAL REVIEW (ACR) – Save the date
The ACR is the most important event of the Air Cadet training year. As part of mandatory training, ALL CADETS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND in order to complete their training level, qualify for rank promotions, receive awards, and participate in summer training opportunities. Details will be announced in Cadet365 closer to the date.
808 Wing Events
You can also support our cadets by participating in upcoming 808 (Thunderbird) Wing events. As the squadron’s primary sponsor, 808 Wing provides the use of the Local Headquarters (LHQ) building and is a vital partner in our program.

MAR 15 PANCAKE BREAKFAST (link)
Drop by anytime between (9:00am to 11:30am) 719 Nanaimo Lakes Rd follow Pancake Breakfast signs to 808 Wing Lounge at the back to enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast while supporting 205 Collishaw Air Cadets Squadron and 808 Thunderbird Wing. Selected cadets will be volunteering their time to serve guests and help with clean-up come out and show your support for these dedicated youth! Bring your family and friends we can’t wait to see you there!

MAR 20 - TGIF Social at 808 Wing (Link)
Drop by anytime between 15:30–19:30 for a fun-filled late afternoon! Bring a game, bring some friends, and enjoy great company. Snacks will be provided. $5 per person.

MAR 28 TGIS Luncheon at 808 Wing (Link)
TGIS is more than just a meal it’s a chance to connect, catch up, and enjoy a Saturday among friends from 11:30-13:00 for just $9 per person.
Parade night
- Regular Parade Nights are Thursdays: 18:00 – 21:20 hrs (September to June) and include parade practice and 3 periods of training for cadets.
- Commanding Officer’s (CO’s) Parade: are the first Thursday of every month 18:15hrs seating – 18:30hrs start (October to June) includes band and flag party presentations, uniform review, promotions and awards, and squadron events and announcements. Parents/Guardians and family are welcome to attend!
- Parade location: Brigadier D. R. Sargent Armoury Building 719 Nanaimo Lakes Road, Nanaimo B.C.
