Volunteer With Us

The Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) proudly supports the work of 205 Collishaw Squadron and is an integral partner in the continued success of our Squadron. Volunteers are a vital part of our community, and every contribution big or small plays an essential role in creating a positive and enriching experience for our cadets.

The SSC offers a variety of meaningful volunteer opportunities, including:

  • Assisting staff at cadet events
  • Providing transportation
  • Picking up supplies
  • Organizing fundraising activities
  • Supporting canteen operations
  • Assisting with occasional maintenance and project work parties

To ensure the safety and well-being of our cadets, all SSC volunteers must complete a thorough Volunteer Application process, which includes a background check. This screening is mandatory for anyone working in a youth-focused environment and helps us maintain a safe, supportive setting for all participants.

We are grateful for the dedication and generosity of our volunteers your support makes a lasting difference.

All parents and guardians of cadets are encouraged to volunteer with the SSC. Adult community members without cadets in the program are also welcome to participate.
