Band
Bands play a significant role in cadet squadrons. Cadet bands provide our squadrons with accompaniment for ceremonial occasions add visibility within the community. The cadet band program provides individual cadets with a challenging, worthwhile means of developing as cadets, musicians and members of the community. It is led by a band officer and the drum major.

Band Practice on Wednesday 1830-2030 open to all Cadets. If you are interested in joining the band, speak with the Sr. Band Cadet.

Music Classification and Appointment Badges

Music Proficiency Levels 1-5
Successfully meet the training requirements for each of the Music proficiency levels.
Level 1-5 badge placement:
- Centred on the left sleeve with the bottom of the badge positioned immediately above the top of the cuff.
- Only the badge for the highest level attained shall be worn.

Drum Major
Be appointed as the Drum Major of a band other than a Pipe Band.
Badge placement:
- For AC to FSgt: Worn centred on the left sleeve of the jacket, the bottom of the badge immediately above the top of the cuff.
- For WO2 and WO1: Worn centred mid-way between the elbow and the upper shoulder seam.
