Join as a Volunteer

Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) Volunteers are valuable team members and their contributions, no matter how small or large, are very important to the success of 205 Collishaw Squadron. We have a range of volunteer opportunities including assisting the staff at cadet events, providing transportation, picking up supplies, organizing fundraising activities, coordinating the parade night, canteen, and occasional maintenance and project related work parties.

SSC volunteers are required to undergo a comprehensive Volunteer Application process including a background check. The screening of all volunteers is mandatory for involvement in a youth environment.

SSC supports the work of the squadron and is an integral partner to the success of our Squadron. For more information on the Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) view here.

All parents/guardians of cadets are encouraged to join as SSC volunteers. Adult community members who do not have cadets in the program are also welcome to volunteer.
