Our Air Cadet Program offers activities for youth aged 12-18 that will challenge and educate today’s youth to be the leaders of tomorrow. The aim of the Air Cadet Program is to develop in youth attributes of good citizenship and leadership, promote physical fitness and stimulate interest in aviation. Shaping tomorrow’s leaders through mentorship, community service, skill development, and teamwork. “To Learn. To Serve. To Advance.”

Parade Night
Regular Parade Nights are Thursdays (September to June) from 18:00 – 21:15 hrs and include parade practice and 3 periods of training for cadets.
Commanding Officer’s (CO’s) Parades are the first Thursday of every month (September to June) from 18:00 – 20:00 hrs and include band and flag party presentations, uniform review, promotions and awards, and squadron events and announcements. Parents and Guardians are invited to come back at 1915hr (7:15 pm) to watch the CO’s parade.
Parade location is the Brigadier D. R. Sargent Armoury Building 719 Nanaimo Lakes Road, Nanaimo BC map. Please feel free to drop by on Thursdays to talk with our Officers, Staff and the Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) members about the Air Cadet Program or upcoming events and activities.
