Our Air Cadet Program offers activities for youth aged 12-18 that will challenge and educate today’s youth to be the leaders of tomorrow. The aim of the Air Cadet Program is to develop in youth attributes of good citizenship and leadership, promote physical fitness and stimulate interest in aviation. Shaping tomorrow’s leaders through mentorship, community service, skill development, and teamwork. “To Learn. To Serve. To Advance.”

- APR 30 DEADLINE Lew Davies Bursary this bursary is awarded by 808 Thunderbird Wing RCAFA to assist cadets pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must be current and active 205 Collishaw Squadron air cadets with a minimum of four years in air cadets. For more information view here.

- MAY 18 Pancake Breakfast Easter Sunday view here. Come by and enjoy a tasty breakfast and support your 205 Collishaw Air Cadets Squadron and the 808 (Thunderbird) Wing Air Force Association.
- JUN 1 Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) 2025 (0800-1600) ALL Cadets will participate in ACR to showcase their accomplishments this training year view in MRO. Event is open to the public, mark the date in your calendar for your family and friends. Guests are to arrive for 1230 hours.
- 2025 Summer Cadet Training Center (CTC) The Squadron staff will let selected Cadets know as soon as we know. All applications for CSTCs were due by MAR 28. Late submissions can still be made however, cadets will be waitlisted. CSTC training is open to all Level 2+ Cadets. Info on Summer Course information at view here. - Volunteer Support Needed We’re seeking volunteers for the monthly Pancake Breakfast who can contribute by giving their time once or twice a year to support 205 Collishaw. Even a small commitment can make a big difference! For more information and to view available positions view here.
Parade Night
- Regular Parade Nights are Thursdays 18:00 – 21:15 hrs (September to June) and include parade practice and 3 periods of training for cadets.
- Commanding Officer’s (CO’s) Parade are the first Thursday of every month 18:00 – 20:30 hours (September to June) and include band and flag party presentations, uniform review, promotions and awards, and squadron events and announcements. Parents and Guardians are invited to come back at 1915hr (7:15 pm) to view the CO’s parade.
- Parade location is the Brigadier D. R. Sargent Armoury Building 719 Nanaimo Lakes Road, Nanaimo BC map.
- Drop in on Thursdays to talk with our Officers, Staff and the Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) members about the Air Cadet Program or upcoming events and activities.
